A creative writing workshop focusing on traditional poetic forms built on the iambic pentameter line. Members will learn by examining and discussing examples of poetry from the Renaissance to the present with emphasis on techniques of sound and form. Members will apply these techniques in collaborative, individual writing and rewriting. This workshop is intended to help writers of all kinds further develop their capacity for making music from the English language.
