Design fundamentals are related to the study and practice of Interior Design.  Through a series of courses, students will be introduced to the career of interior design and its health and safety responsibilities, the design process including elements and principles of design concept, space planning, materials, lighting, human factors and environmental design.

 

Series I

 

Students will; learn about the Interior Design profession, who is an Interior Designer, is this a career that you would like to pursue, the education requirements, the relationship of the design fundamentals to the study and the practice of Interior Design and to analyze your own design projects.
