Students will know if this is a career they would like to pursue, explain the application process and the manipulation of the elements and principles of design, develop a design concept, utilize the goals of interior design by selecting and analyzing the appropriateness of materials used in interior design, explain and understand the fundamentals of lighting design, understand the fundamentals of human factors in planning space and of environmental design.
