This course will be taught by a master custom knife maker.  This is an introductory course in the basic fundamentals of custom knife building.  Using common tools found in most shops, students will create a custom knife with a high carbon tool steel blade and a handle made from your choice of hard woods. The result will be a finished and useable knife which students have created from scratch.  A major emphasis is placed upon the necessity for shop safety.  Enrollment is limited to 10.
