You must have an Off-Campus Account to connect to the library's electronic resources,
including journal and encyclopedia articles, from any off-campus location.
Off-campus accounts are only available to current students, faculty and staff of
UM - Helena College of Technology with valid ID cards. You do not need an off-campus
password to access the library catalog.
Create Your Off-Campus Account
1. Signup for your Off-Campus Account (First-time Users).
2. Submit your information. Please note: If you are also taking classes through MT Tech, you may need to use your MT Tech student ID number instead of your UM-Helena ID number.
3. You will receive a confirmation immediately if account is successful.
4. You only need to create this account once.
Access Library Resources From Off-Campus
1. When you attempt to access an electronic resource, you will be prompted
to enter your User Name and Password.
2. Once you login, you will be connected to the database you have selected.
3. Forgot Password? Link to the reminder form, which will send a reminder to
your email account, or contact the Librarian at (406) 444-2743
